                       Last week on 4th 5th and 6th school went down to the waikowhai intermediate hall we had five performances one of the performances was a rehearsal from the other was a dress rehearsal and the other three were the real performance. Getting ready getting ready was hard because we had to get into our clothes and you get really hot and the changing rooms waiting for our class turn was really hard I got really hot and our costumes. Getting onto the stage with little bit scary for me.

Lego workshop

On the 18th of Nov we we're at a Lego workshop what was in a waikowhai school hall. when iIwent in I was excited like really excited then we went to sit on the mat and they talked about the Lego and what stations we're going to do do a 5 activities but we only got to do 3 out of the five one of them was you build something on an island. Next you needed to make a planet. catch you later.

   Summer learning journey 

Hi guys, I have always wanted to do the Summer Learning journey so in class we have done some online drawing. It's really fun look up the top to see my drawing. Anyway I have been thinking that I really want to do the summoner journey so yeah. You're probably wondering hey I want to do that what's the app called so that's been going to tell you the name of the app it is could art colouring book so fun when I say so I mean really fun I have been doing it when I was out of school to like I mean I take my Chromebook own I might play it I hope you like it. It's quite cool it comes with the drawing with no colour and you have to colour it in there was the main picture and I didn't really like it so I made it my own coloured it a different colour. I think it looks better I tried to make it like there was it was melting ice and it was night time that's why I liked it so much. Catch you later

On Friday 13th, our class went to skateboarding skills. It was fun and everyone learnt something new like l learnt how to do cool tricks. You're probably wondering how we did all those cool tricks. It was these two coaches Ben and Lawrence. They were really good at skateboarding. When I say really, I mean really! They could do an ollie that was 1 m high.

I wish I could do those tricks anyway. We got to do a cool trick that you jumped on the skateboard, flipped it over and continued to skate. It was really cool. Then we got to have another session. Oh yeah!

 This week we have been doing lots of rocket experiments. I made a rocket. It had lots of things like a plane for the bobby and a jet we had to launch of with ear some of then went high and some did not some people had a ship with a cone at the top mine did not go that far me and my friend made one and it wasn't the best but it was fun to do i got given a coloured piece of paper and a circle he had to cut out and then cut halfway and then you fold the circle into a cone shape and get the long piece of paper and make it into a pipe shape if you have a pump you can push air through the pipe do you need to put the circle on the pipe you push it through the pipe and it                                         blasted off.  It went to really high "now I might make a rocket".

Mangere Mountain trip.

                                                          

 Mangere Mountain trip.

  On the 16th of Nov we went to Mangere Mountain on the school trip.

 We went on a bus there at school we had to go onto the court and my techer had a talk with the middle school. Then we walk down to the front of the school and got into the bus. There were two buses when we got there we had to be a karakia welcomed us on. They gave us a tour of the place the we have to walk up like a billion steps to get up to the road. Then we started to walk up the road then we got to a path and we walked on that we went though a gate in to the Mountain. Then we started walking and stopped next door big tree and we talked about were we were going to walk to do these two trees that we walked to and that talk about 20 minutes. Can we got to those two trees and watch to the top of the mountain the Trigg station. T

here were four groups. All the groups had to go up to the Trigg. Then we slowly start walking down because the gravel was very slippery when you got to the bottom we talked about where the Maori stored their food. Then we walked back we had 5 activities to do Leilani took us around the gardens to show us all the Maori medicines. After that we went back to school on the bus my favourite part was learning about the medicines.

Hi its back to school! I hope you had a good time in lock down.

 In lock down it has been cool but it is so good to be back at school and at this school we have a bush area, which we can play in.

It class we have dun self-directed learning it has been awesome

Tortoises 

  Did you know that tortoises are reptiles?

Today I will tell you a tortoise is a Reptile because they are cold blooded, and because they lay eggs.

There are three species of tortoise. 

Tortoise walk very slowly because

of their heavy shells.

They have short stocky legs

that support their weight.

They mainly eat plants and they

eat all day everyday.

The tortoise shell is made of bone

and the tortoise shell has keratin on it.

Your fingernails and toenails have

keratin on them too. 

Did you know the biggest tortoises live on

Galapagos Island.
