I am Gargee and this summer I am part of the student commenting team for the Summer Learning Journey. I'm so excited to see you blogging, are you enjoying the journey so far?
Thank you for completing another activity for the Summer Learning Journey. The things you've selected are just amazing! Ka Pai for including some great images and creating a nice poster.
Family is one thing that I find the most important too! They help me in all aspects of life, and help me become a better person overall. I love my family so much; to the moon and back! How is your family important to you?
Fruit is an absolutely amazing choice! It's great that they are important to you, as they are healthy and delicious, perfect for when you need something to eat on the go. What's your favourite fruit? I love all fruit, but strawberries, mango, pineapple, grapes, raspberries, and plums are all so yummy! Do you have a least favourite fruit?; what is it? Though I just like fruit in general, my least favourite is probably bananas!
I find it incredible that you included soccer! Sports are great for having fun, exercising and working as a team. Are you part of any team, or do you just like playing? I personally don't really like sports, as I've mentioned many, many times before. Do you have any other sports that you like? What makes you like soccer?
Great job with this activity Lewis! I just think maybe you should go in and include some information about why these things are important to you, do you agree? Keep up the great learning and I'll be back on your blog to look at more of your posts.
My name is Kueni and I am one of the blog commenters working with the Summer Learning Journey(SLJ) this summer. I hope you have been enjoying your break and have been getting in a lot of sun!
What a lovely blog post you have put together here today, you have put so much effort and time into this activity. This was one of my favourite activities over this summer because I really enjoyed reading about what all your guys treasure and it has been so nice seeing different things from different people. I think it is so awesome that you have chosen your family as one of the important things to you. I value family too and I don’t know what I would do without mine sometimes :)
As you know all good things must come to an end and next week Friday the 24th of January, the SLJ programme ends for this summer. Before it ends it would be so great to see some more awesome blog posts just like this one, you have plenty of time so hopefully you will have time to jump on a do a few more.
Remember the more activities you do, the more points you get towards getting some epic prizes!
Morena Lewis, I love that you've included your family in the things that are important to you. I hope you are all enjoying your time together throughout the lock down in NZ. Are you managing to play any football in the back garden? Perhaps over the next few weeks, during this time away from school, you could post about your learning that is happening at home. Alternatively, you could post about your experiences of the lock down. Blogging is a really good way to stay connected to our middle school team, as well as posting comments on other people's blogs. I'll look forward to reading your future posts.
